Why hand-holding? A year ago we came to Chicago on a visit and noticed how many people were holding hands and we thought that’s a good sign. It says I’m relaxed and happy enough to be present in the moment to reach out and connect with a person I care about. Holding hands says comfort and for gay men it says confidence and trust and it sets an example - I love and I’m proud. That’s why the symbol of for The Dads of Love is two men holding hands, and we wanted to share that with you on the occasion of the 1-year anniversary of the Day Party and the 1st Pride Kickoff Party and of our 1st year here as Chicagoans. More love, more pride, more joy, more moments of music and connection, and more hand-holding ahead! We love you, Chicago! Conrad and Derek, the Dads of Love
