We are happy to announce our new Principal Conductor will be Daniel Quinn!! Mr. Quinn will begin his duties as Principal Conductor in the 2015-2016 season. While current Current Music Director William Walker is moving to London next season, he will keep a strong affiliation with the orchestra moving into the role of Artistic Director.

Principal Conductor Designate Daniel Quinn, has conducted orchestras both nationally and internationally. A graduate of the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music, his primary conducting studies were with Dr. Daniel Sommerville and Dr. John William Trotter. Outside of the university, Mr. Quinn has also received tutelage from Maestro Drostan Hall, Music Director of Camerata Chicago, and Maestro Darryl One, Music Director of the Victoria Symphony Orchestra, and significant mentorship from Maestro John Nelson, former music director of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and Ensemble Orchestral de Paris. In addition to his conducting pursuits, Mr. Quinn maintains an active performing career as a trombonist and will be working on his Masters in Orchestral Studies at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University this upcoming fall.
