New website.
New ideas.
New season.
New hope.
This New Moon (and six other celestial placements!) in Aries is doing the damn thing. Do you feel it? We got some motion. Why you think everybody thinks warehouses are a good place to roast marshmallows all of the sudden? All these abusers getting outed? I'm genuinely feeling optimistic for change despite the horrors. I heard the term "apocalyptic optimist" and I'm running with that. People are finally waking up.

ANYWAY, still looking for design gigs and art commissions! And although I had a couple hundred come in last time I asked for mutual aid, it wasn't enough to cover rent. So please donate and if you can't, please share to your networks. I'm trying to cover April and May's rent and bills.

My sadness is profound.
Cannot be up
Without being
down.

And I have been DOWN this week. I find myself being embarrassed by my sadness often, but I think the world deserves more vulnerability. There are far too many people who cannot feel, so I’m grateful to be among those who can. I want to say thank you to everyone who reached out to me after I posted that too real reel. I was going through it! Now I know you sometimes do, too. We have to keep each other uplifted in these times. No matter how tough it gets, we’re tougher.

I challenged myself to look at old sketches and unfinished drawings and try to do something. I started this months ago, so I guess it was just waiting on the right time. I got a couple more in the chamber too. I’d love to make a new line of prints so let me know if you’d like one.

In the meantime, I am still looking for work and mutual aid. I got some support already, around $200, for which I’m so very grateful, but it’s not enough to make rent. If you have anything to spare it’s greatly appreciated.

Wherever you are and whatever you’re doing, I hope you find a way to channel your emotions into something creative sometime soon.

It's Spring again and I have emerged🪻 Feeling like a certified BADDIE again like she never left. Like Michael Jackson bad! Energy: bad. Creativity: bad. Resilience: bad. The look: BAD bad!

I'm thankful to see another Spring and to have had a season of rest after a tumultuous 18 months, first with my aunt's illness and passing, then my own illness. But finally new ideas for art, videos, and other motivations are swirling!

In the meantime, I'm looking for mutual aid. This is always the in-between time before things start to pick up and unfortunately I've come up short for April. I'm also hoping to spread the love to my friend Khalil who is still with his family in G@z@. Anything you can spare would help immensely! I thank you all as I have many times for all your love and support. It will continue to mean so much to me. Happy Aries Season! Eid Mubarak! 💗

Hi.

I'm taking a hiatus from Instagram. I'll be back sometime in March. The last 18 months have really kicked my ass, but I have the opportunity to take downtime of my own volition for the first time a while. I got my new buddy Harold last month and a clean bill of health as of Monday! I'm excited to be tending to my own projects and well being this Winter, and will return with the flowers in the Spring.

If you need me you know how to find me, if not, I guess I'll see you in 2026. Thanks everyone so much for your love and support this year, it really means more than I can ever say.

Khalil reached out to me this week to help him, his little niece Sidra, and the rest of his family in you-know-where🍉 As you know the situation is dire, and he needs OUR help to survive! Hey 👋🏽

Well, here I am! Today marks officially three weeks from my last chemo treatment. My emotions have been all over the place since, and maybe someday I'll chronicle them somewhere when I'm farther away from them.

But for now, it's my birth month and I want to focus on celebrating! Imma roll this baby right on into July and honestly I'm ready to celebrate all summer. I'm turning 44 this year, and 4 is the number of stability in numerology, which I FULLY EXPECT the Universe to deliver on after the last five years I've had!

Anyway, I'm excited to get back to work and do everything I've been wanting to do for the past four months, which include:

• Eat sushi 🍣
• Have so many flowers in my house 🌷
• Picnic by the lake 🍽
• Go out into the woods and scream 😱
• Go for fancy cocktails 🍸

Maybe some of you would be able to help with that if I haven't seen you! And if you can find it in your heart to send a love offering to help me celebrate as I'm a bit cash poor until next month, I'd be so happy. Check my links to do so.

I'm ready for this chapter to be closed.

Ready to meet Spring fully. Ready to deep dive into summer. Ready for my 44th birthday. Ready for the birth of my best friend's first baby. Ready to get back to work and be of service through creativity. Ready to give back. I have to to do this just one more time.

Please support however you can. I'm so beyond blessed that I'm a part of a community of people who understand what it means to lean on each other when it's needed. Right now it's all we have. A million thanks isn't enough.
