Shireinu Anshe Emet

Shireinu Anshe Emet Shireinu is the official volunteer congregational choir of Anshe Emet Synagogue of Chicago, Illinois

Shireinu is the official volunteer congregational choir of Anshe Emet Synagogue of Chicago, Illinois. The choir was initiated on June 19, 2008 by our first Choir Conductor and Director, Heather Aranyi, and Ritual Director, Debby Lewis. Cantor Steven Berke served as Choir Director after Debby Lewis retired. After Cantor Steve Berke left, Shirenu was led by Choir Director and Music Production expert

Christie Chiles Twillie. Since Christie's professional music career took her out of town for long periods of time, Shireinu has been in the very capable and talented hands of Cantor Liz Berke. We currently are led by the exceptional choir director, Tory May.

Shireinu Anshe Emet gathered to thank Cantor Liz Berke for her years of service as our dedicated choir director. We look forward to continuing to sing with her, though, for many more years to come. Thanks Liz!
