Thanks to everyone who came out to Hyde Park Handmade today! I sold more than half of my pieces and loved chatting with folks about my work. I hope to participate in 2-3 markets a year, so stay tuned. Happy Holidays!

I’ve been trying out various surface decorations, and this set of brush stroke bowls is one of my favorites. They are a bit heavy and would be perfect for party snacks like nuts or Chex mix. These will be available at this Sunday 11am to 3pm at !

These are the pieces I have for sale at Hyde Park Art Center. 25% of proceeds benefit the Art Center’s amazing pay-what-you-can arts education programs. The sale runs through Sunday, but I’ll be picking up my pieces on Saturday afternoon so that I can bring them to Hyde Park Handmade.

After a long hiatus…I’m back! I’ll be vending this Sunday from 11am-3pm at Hyde Park Handmade and will have this moon jar for sale. I’ve been using a dark stoneware clay instead of my usual porcelain lately, which gives me the opportunity to experiment with different glazes. I love the earthy vibe and speckled effect here (even though the glaze is called Bathtub White!). Hope to see you this Sunday at The Promontory!

I’m participating in Hyde Park Art Center’s Holiday Art Sale, which started yesterday and goes until December 17th! I’ll have to pick up my work a day early, on the 16th, so if you’re interested in browsing my pieces just make sure to stop by before then. There are lots of other amazing artists participating in the sale and 20% of proceeds will support HPAC’s arts and education programs.

Here’s another set of pieces I’ll be bringing to this Sunday’s Nov 26 * Hyde Park Handmade Artisan Bazaar. I’ll have berry bowls, marbled vases, jewelry/ring trays, mugs, and a chip and dip platter, among many others!

The market runs from 11am to 4pm this Sunday on the second floor of The Promontory at 53rd and Lake Park Ave in Hyde Park (the entrance is on the one way street between Lake Park and Harper Ave).

Here’s another piece I’ll have for sale at Hyde Park Handmade this Sunday! This small covered jar is made of white porcelain clay and glazed in green celadon. The market hours have been extended to 11am to 4pm on the second floor of The Promontory. Hope to see you there!
