THE PAST
Eva, Kathy and Kevin have all been in Chicago a long time, working on plays. Acting in them, directing them, dialect coaching them, casting them, developing them. If you've worked in Chicago theatre in the last 20 years, you've probably worked with one of them. They've been good friends and collaborators since 2007. The kind of friends that get together and read plays for fun. One night, not long after the inauguration of the 45th President they were sitting in Kevin's sunroom reading a play. It was Tony Kushner's A Bright Room Called Day. Just four scenes in, they looked at each other and said, “Oh, no. We have to do this. We swore for years we’d never do this. Oh, %$@. We’d be crazy to do this...” But these are crazy times. So...
