It has not been reminded for a long time that you have an amazing opportunity to take part in the international annual art course “Paint Your Heart and Soul”, in which Svetlana Rumak is one of the invited instructors!

In scratching techniques, you need to tune in to serious work, as the process of creating a picture takes 4 - 9 or more hours for small paintings sized 30x30 and 40x40 cm!

On larger paintings, as Svetlana admits, she works up to several days, and sometimes even weeks!
⠀
But these efforts are certainly justified, because the result of your work will be a spectacular painting that arouses great interest among spectators and collectors!

The new artwork and feedback from Ekaterina Rubicheva, a student of our art school, about the "Color portrait" master class.

I love the fact that the portrait is born in the process of painting. I don't bother looking for a plot, and despite the fact that there is a certain scheme and rules, this is real creativity. Creativity without stress, without responsibility for the result, it's like a game. I dream of finding a kind of ART that will give me pleasure, make me want to paint every day. The first artwork has already been liked by husband, son, and friends in social networks. I have already started 2 following artworks as well. Thank you, Svetlana, for sharing this technique!

No, we are not talking about a simple collage that you may have done at school, cutting pictures from magazines - although ... it is also possible, why not)))
⠀
We are talking about “Author's Collage” - Svetlana Rumak’s unique author’s technique, which turns creativity into a real game, as a result of which you will create a subtle, unusual, as if time-saturated work, even without special skills!

And, yes! - any level of your preparation fits for collage!
Svetlana explains it step by step and very clearly, so it will work out for everyone!

Of professional materials, you will need acrylic (sooooo little!), acrylic varnish, watercolor pencils and a palette knife. But from the “non-professional” materials... something quite unexpected waits for you))
