The news is true, this show has run its course.

Thank you for the support, but running a monthly show by myself is too much for my mental right now.

As a thank you, I see no reason to keep these from y'all. This is the conversation between me and responding to the first show that was Dec 20, 2018. The conversation I either showed or read off at the end of every show. Remember, this show started as a statement for more inclusivity in feminism comedy as well as a protest of Amy Schumer's recordings taking place at the same time at The Chicago Theater. Those recordings would go on to become "Growing" on Netflix. So behold, the reason Amy Schumer blocked me on Instagram.

Today marks the one year anniversary of Outside Amy Schumer - A Radical Comedy Show.

Our first lineup was:
Rachel Relman
Matt Brown
Ashley Victoria
Lea Ciastko
and
Cecilia Dillon

My, how this show has seen its ups and downs! If you remember, this show was only supposed to happen once. But from a post I did not long after and the response it get, I was encouraged to keep it going. Since, we've gotten attention, surprisingly Amy Schumer's, we've also had nights where we packed the house and nights where I just had to put on a smile and do it for 5 people. In any case, thank every last one of you who has asked about the show, who has seen it, submitted to it and i'm so sorry that this show is taking so long to come back. We're trying. We really are.

We will return in 2020.

Bein the folks behind the ❌'s,

Visibility is much needed for us today. The Supreme Court makes decisions today that should have already been decided in our favor before my time.

Myself (KJ) and Radical Comedy stand with without question. Because we are teachers, first responders, doctors, cooks, entertainers. Me? I am a transgender woman who watches over kindergarteners for a living. Under my watch, my children are safe, they have fun and they learn. Me being queer/trans does not get in the way of my ability to care for children.

I SHOULD NOT be fired for being me.
