Hi. We’re here again for the moment as we engage in an existential conflict and need all the visibility we can get. If you aren’t already aware, Equity Arts (led by Alma Weiser and Vincent Uribe of Heaven Gallery and LVL3, respectively) have been invisibilizing us and NoNation in their quest to get public funds to end 40+ years of history of independent live-work art spaces in the Lubinski Furniture building and develop it anew as a ‘retail incubator’. We have been kept out of the process almost entirely, and expect that we will not have a place here in the future. A few articles are linked for reference below.

The Equity Arts project wants to turn the building it shares with TriTriangle and No Nation into an incubator for a diverse arts community, but it proposes to evict curators who live in their spaces.

Per the Paradise Papers, Facebook is complicit in the Russian manipulation of US population during the election and much more. I will be discontinuing the Tritriangle page in the next few weeks.

I will shift focus to direct email marketing. Please sign up for our email list through tritriangle.net and share this with anyone else you think will want to know. I’ll keep the page up with a pinned post indicating this is what has happened, but this is the last straw and I’m abandoning ship.

Any suggestions for other event promotion/organization methods, sites, hosted frameworks, etc are more than welcome.
