JRynecki Music has always had a way of pulling me into the present. Now as an artist, it’s always been my aim to impart that impact and presentness with others.

I grew up living in Panama and Germany where I was exposed to sounds I’ll cherish forever; salsa, merengue, samba in Latin America in the ’90s, electronic music in Europe in the mid-2000s. That infused with an Americana third culture upbringing abroad, I found my ability to relate to others without speaking. As I dove into the electronic music scene in my early 20’s, music became one of the many w

ays I learned how to make an impact on the world. I’ve experienced so many beautiful moments under a DJ’s spell, completely present-minded and entranced, it’s a goal of mine to give that feeling back. Now in a world full of distractions, giving someone the space to outsmart their smartphone is the best gift of all.
