Chicago Dance Crash returns to the Dance for Life stage with a new world premiere work: LOUD🔊

LOUD is a structured freestyle performed by Chicago Dance Crash Ensemble Artists and Guests—leaders and active practitioners within Chicago’s street dance community, rooted in the freestyle foundations and cultural traditions of Hip Hop, Litefeet, House, Chicago Footwork, Jerkin’, and Breaking.

LOUD celebrates self-expression, community, and the years of dedication behind each artist’s craft, centering the embodied histories and current torchbearers of these evolving street dance art forms.

🎟️Tickets available at CDHF.org. All proceeds from the performance benefit the Chicago Dance Health Fund.

Some of our favorite moments from Crash’s Chicago Cultural Center Residency with choreographer Annie Franklin✨

Crash spent a month in residency with Franklin developing the company’s newest work “Six Ways to Fall”, culminating in two community classes and open previews at the Chicago Cultural Center.

Performed to an original score by local music producer e j e c t, this work was made possible by the support of the Chicago Cultural Center and the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events.
