She was once called “the most beautiful woman in the world.” So why don’t we remember Ursula Thiess? 🎬

Born in Hamburg, Ursula Thiess built a career in postwar Germany before making her way to Hollywood, where she was signed by RKO and appeared alongside stars like Rock Hudson, Glenn Ford, and Robert Mitchum.

She even graced the cover of Life magazine in 1954.

But despite the glamour, the Hollywood spotlight, and a marriage to legendary actor Robert Taylor, Thiess’s story has largely faded from public memory.

Join us at DANK Haus for “Ursula Thiess – Forgotten Hollywood Star,” a presentation exploring the fascinating life and career of this German-American actress.
