Introducing our founder, Mohamad! 🌟 (Mo, Ω…Ψ­Ω…Ψ―)

Mohamad, a Lebanese-American, discovered his passion for Dabke during college. It all started when a group of amazing Palestinian friends invited him to join them. Their group, Baladna, quickly gained popularity, performing at events, coaching students, and even competing in national festivals!

In 2022, Mohamad moved to Chicago and was captivated by the vibrant Middle Eastern/Arab community. After months of planning and research, he launched Al Sham Dabke.

"Al Sham Dabke aims to spread the love and joy of our beautiful culture through rhythmic footwork, immersive events, and exciting classes. I have some incredible plans in store and can't wait to share them with all of you! Stay tuned." πŸ˜„πŸŽ‰ - Mohamad Zoror
