CHICAGO — Only 3 days until French cellist Juliette Herlin makes her ACMS debut in ECHOES OF BOHEMIA, a rhapsodic evening exploring the music of Dvorak, Janacek, and Smetana. CHICAGO— Our season opening concert is only 3 weeks away and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome Teng Li, Principal Viola of the Chicago Symphony, in her ACMS debut. Li is an internationally celebrated soloist, chamber musician, and recording artist, hailed for her “burnished sound and elegant command of phrasing” (New York Times) and “a musical personality that mesmerizes the ear” (BBC Music). CHICAGO — This week we welcome the amazing cellist Yin Xiong of the St. Louis Symphony. At the age of 17 she debuted as soloist with the Hong Kong Philharmonic, and has gone on to perform extensively throughout Asia and the US. She makes her ACMS debut this Saturday in CAFE MUSIC.
