Cait is regularly described (by me mostly) as the Fil-Am Norah Jones of our generation but her music, aesthetic, and style subvert comparison. Her influences are front and center for those that can hear them, and yet still leave you feeling something uniquely new. Cait has appeared regularly around the city ( )and recently at our previous collab with & in Niles earlier this year.

Jay-Jaé Reyes (They/Them) is a multi-hyphenate founder, producer, director, and performer who embodies the born-and-raised spirit of the Chicago art scene. A late bloom in many ways, having grown up disconnected from their Fil-Am Heritage and q***r affirming communities. Jay-Jaé has learned to lead from behind and support the underrepresented like themselves, with bold and subversive approach that challenges status quo thinking and drives innovation with every endeavor.

I am happy to see that our little meetup have reached double digits this month. Unfortunately, our current venue VietFive’s seating cannot accommodate that many people.

Fortunately, there is a very nice coffee show Sawada Coffee just down the street, and we will meet there at the same scheduled time.
