🩸Also welcoming CHERRIES N POISON to the mix as a special guest creator: Dani (AKA .n.poison on instagram) is a multidisciplinary artist, musician, and luthier from Chicago, IL. Focused primarily on printmedia, Dani spends a lot of time making collage, zines, prints, and pop-up books. This year he has three major projects premiering to the public: The Q***r ‘90s zine, Closer (a pop-up, fold-out mechanical tribute to The Downward Spiral), and a solo exhibition of miniature collages set to be displayed in a dollhouse gallery. When he is not folding and cutting paper, he is running his small business You Amplified where he repairs and maintenances electric instruments from guitars and pedals to amps and synthesizers. You Amplified is located in the Bridgeport neighborhood, offering sliding scale services to the local community and welcoming folks historically excluded from the music industry. And lastly, he is the frontman vocalist of Deadnamed, the QT DIY industrial band, and will be playing at the Dolphin Lounge on 02/22.
