What started as a touring music festival in 1991 by Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Lollapalooza has become a definitively unique music experience. Today, Lollapalooza takes place every summer in historic Grant Park, Chicago, between the iconic Chicago skyline and the shores of Lake Michigan.

Building on our partnership with Chicago Public Schools, we are proud to commit $1.7M through 2031 to expand arts education opportunities for the city’s young artists. This brings Lolla’s total support for CPS arts to $3.9M since 2021.

The donation advances two initiatives: All City Performing Arts, offering after-school music, dance, and theater ensembles for students, and the Lollapalooza Arts Education Fund, providing grants to expand in-school arts programs.
