This afternoon at the Chicago Salsa & Bachata Festival, our pro and semi-pro bachata teams competed in a qualifying event for the World Salsa Summit. Both teams competed in the bachata open showcase division, and we’re pleased to announce that our pro team placed first, and our semi-pro team placed third! With their first place finish, our pro team is headed to the World Salsa Summit!

This morning, our pro and semi-pro bachata teams compete to qualify for the World Salsa Summit in January! Competition starts at 10 am in the Tito Puente Room at the Chicago Salsa & Bachata Festival.

At 3 pm today, our director Reynaldo Sanchez is teaching an urban bachata workshop at the Chicago Salsa & Bachata Festival! The workshop will be in the El Torito Room.

Catch Legacy on the stage this weekend at the Chicago Salsa & Bachata Festival! Tonight, our semi-pro bachata team performs “Vete” and “Eterno.” Saturday night, our pro bachata team performs “Héroe.” And on Sunday, our semi-pro and student bachata teams join forces to present “Just As I Am.”
