Not your average optimistic “year-in-review” post 😮💨
This year was actually really fricken hard - for me and for my business. There were shifts the industry made for me, and shifts I had to make myself. But somewhere in all of it, I found my way back to why I fell in love with filming in the first place.
It reminded me that the pace of a wedding day shapes so much of how it’s remembered.
The moments that tend to stay with people are the quieter ones - a conversation that isn’t rushed, a giggle with your partner that’s allowed to linger, a timeline that lets the day breathe…all of it adds up to films that feels most like you.
That’s what I keep coming back to. And it’s what’s been pulling me further and further into a documentary approach! Paying attention to how the day moves, what the day needs, and how your personalities are able to show up because of it.
That’s the mindset I’m carrying forward, and one I’m genuinely SO excited to keep building on in 2026!!
