We are made up of students, teachers and working professionals. Our goal is to create art that can open your eyes, heart and mind to the vibrant world around us. We run under a “storefront theatre” model and over 200 companies in Chicago also follow this structure. The windy city is acknowledged worldwide for its contribution to the storefront movement. We focus on creating an authentic storefront
experience for our students here at North Park. In order for this to be successful, everyone’s jobs are intertwined and the workload for every show is shared throughout the company. At any given time, an actor could also be building a set or a lighting designer might be working on a write up for a grant. We consider it to not only be cross training but also smart.
