As active supporters of Chicago’s creative scene, we have found it difficult to effectively network at local events because they are often overcrowded, not stimulating enough, inclusive, or safe spaces. We are seeking to create an intimate, warm space that allows for meaningful connections and highlights emerging creatives.

The “Biscuits and Jam” concept was born in 2018 out of marrying Kelsey’s expertise in event production, Ashlee’s passion for food and their interest in bringing friends and great vibes together. “Biscuits and Jam” will perfectly integrate a “jam session” with an assortment of biscuits. This creates an interactive space for food and fellowship with local emerging creatives. We aim to have a “Biscuits and Jam” event bi-annually to highlight emerging creatives such as musicians, visual artists and more.
