Yes, it's Saturday, but you have some time to meet your next combatant for Write Club: It’s Time for the Pollinator. This is Chris Walsh.

Once upon a time, Chris Walsh acted in and wrote plays. His scripts have been produced at hundreds of schools and community theaters all over the U.S., as well as Canada, the U.K., Germany, Turkey, and New Zealand. He made his artistic home at Lifeline Theatre for many years, and was the literary manager of WildClaw Theatre for a while. He appeared onstage at Steppenwolf, A Red Orchid, The House, and The Factory, among many others. He also made a handful of TV and film appearances, but those weren't as much fun. Currently, he gets his creative fix through playing Dungeons & Dragons, indulging his lifelong fantasy of being a rock star by playing bass in a local cover band, and performing in live lit shows like Based On A True Story, Serving The Sentence, and Write Club.

The season 16 finale for Write Club, It’s Time for the Pollinator, is just around the corner. It's time to meet your next combatant, Nestor Gomez.

Nestor “the Boss” Gomez was born in Guatemala and traveled to Chicago in the mid 80’s. He was undocumented, stutter and didn’t know English. He didn’t have a voice. Today Nestor is an American citizen, speaks English with a sexy Latin accent and has become a storyteller, winner of close to 100 Moth Slams.

School's out, work is still on, street festivals are everywhere and we are at the close of our 16th season. Already? Sheesh, no one tells you that time keeps on slippin slippin slippin into the future, and I feel like we should have been warned. Good thing we’re going out with a bang and a half. Here’s your lineup:
