Gladiator Fright Night Audition Notice

Gladiator Fright Night is BACK with a vengeance. 8 iconic horror characters battle TO THE DEATH in our stage combat tournament. Gladiator Fright Night includes multiple rounds and Winners are decided by audience vote.

Actors will perform in 2 - 4 fights per show, depending on how the audience votes. Each round will feature different weapons.

DIRTY DETAILS:
Runs: Thursday, October 22nd - Sunday, October 25th
Rehearsals: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings starting on September 8th (after Labor Day) Note- actors are not called to every rehearsal given the bracket format of the show
Stipend: $100*
* Audiences are given the chance to “tip their fighters” which is divided evenly among cast members at the end of the run. Cannot guarantee tip amount but we typically see at least $50+ per performer.

Callbacks will be held on : JULY 30th

NOTE: This is a movement heavy production, involving stairs. Weapon certifications do not have to be current as long as skills are maintained.

We encourage and welcome character suggestions from actors! Feel free to pitch who you would like to play.

Do NOT pitch the following characters: Chucky, Shining Twins, Terrifier, Ghostface, Jason (Friday the 13th), Annie Wilkes, Pearl, Children of the Corn, Annabelle, Patrick Bateman, The Ring, The Grudge, Lady Gremlin, Predator, Carrie or Regan (The Exorcist)

Join us for this free event FRIDAY JULY 17th at BERGER PARK for a Gladiator showdown featuring Chicago Icons like Deep Dish Pizza and The Bean! You can vote for your favorite fighter and stick around for a Stage Combat Workshop after the show.
