When things change inside you, things change around you. I’m so thrilled to be where I am in life. I feel more grounded than ever and with that has come a growing sense of inner peace. This week I moved into a place of my own and I started graduate school for my Master’s in Art Therapy & Counseling. Hello friends! I have some very exciting news ✨ This summer, I will be moving back to Chicago to attend graduate school for a dual degree in Counseling & Art Therapy! For many years this has been my dream - to learn how to use my gift of creativity in a healing environment. I’ve spent most of my post undergrad time adventuring, learning so much about myself in the process, and acquiring all sorts of new practical and emotional skills. I also have developed a deep passion for social justice along the way. As we are in a mental health crisis and a time of social reform, my decision to become a therapist feels simultaneously fateful and pragmatic.🤍 With all that said I leave you with one of my favorite quotes...
