Ok....yes....for those who know...my Mom is in critical condition. She is in the ICU at Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospital. Since Tuesday. She went in with a feeling like heartburn or something from what she ate... when she arrived she collapsed & had a heart attack of sorts.. they did resuscitation & she was ok. & then her arrhythmia ended up having another attack & they did life saving measures again. She ended up in ICU, Advocate Illinois Masonic hospital room 609, for those who want it.

She is currently there....stable.....meaning no change....not for the better or worse....just limbo right now.

She needs to get a heart scope(?) To see if there is issue in the heart, but today hee hemoglobin dropped so they gave her a transfusion and it raised it so now we are just waiting & hoping that it keeps its good level.

When she came to the ER she was bleeding from her lung, from what I understand. She fell a week prior & didn't want me to tell my Dad,but under the circumstances, I did. I thought she should see the doctor. She said in a couple days she was & would tell them. My husband, Kevin, told her to go to the ER as well. And then about a few days later this all happens.

When I seen her in the hospital, before major hard-core meds....she said I love you...I said I love her too. She mother to me water....I tried to get the nurses & others to give her relief. She was not able to get water, but they can wet her mouth & area with a sponge thing.

I had to leave, I couldn't stay. There was nothing I could do other than that. She knew I tried. I had to go back home.

I get home, seems all OK for now. My Brother sleeps, my Dad sleeps....exhausted from the night before of emotions & having a b**r to relax, to ease the worry & calm the mind.

Skip a few days....to today. Aug 28, day after my husband's birthday, some celebration huh? She loved him no matter what. Even still, I reminded Dad & my brother, today is Kev's birthday too. I know my Mom would have given a card. My Dad rolls a joint for him....we eat. My Dad later goes to the casino & does well with Mom's card # for the casino bonus. Then now....today...(see comments)

Well....the Scoob is coming back tomorrow. Sometimes, things work their way into your life because the gravitational pull to each other from higher powers or unknown circumstances...but I don't know if I am happy or sad for him. But....I don't want to think about what I am thinking. But it will be an epic reunion tomorrow.

Man, I think my boys have a friend in Finley's. They devoured it......as soon as I popped that top you had my boys hooked. They got excited, barking and tail wagging... well not the sheepdog Finn, he has no tail but his butt was wagging & when I was delivering the food he was jumping & excited like he doesn't normally do.

I didn't know what to expect, but it was well beyond. The texture was like pate, which for me is easy to spread on top for boys. They thought it was yummy and I split the can into 2 days worth because they loved it soooo much. I think I found a new favorite of theirs. It didn't smell to bad either. And normally when I give new food they get the Hershey squirts, but because it was gut friendly, that is just fabulous because the sheepdog has tummy troubles that are sensitive. And the brain cognition for the older guys is good. PLUS...the best thing. You support people with disabilities! My husband has a disability & to know you can bridge him & our boys together, just "chef's kiss" perfectly done. Thanks for the trial can, look forward to getting some in the future.
