Gouache, colored pencil, and white gel pen on watercolor paper. 11”x14”. 2022.

By comparing a TV screen and a window, I created a piece meant to show how screenshots of life don’t even scratch the surface what’s going on behind closed doors. Everything on TV is edited, perfected, and windows, sprinkled along a home, only allow a tiny piece of perfect life to be captured by an outsider. Life through windows becomes filtered like a TV program.

Hello everyone !! Welcome to my fine arts page :•) This is where I’ll be posting my paintings, jewelry, and countless other creations (still to come)!

I am a senior at Columbia College Chicago currently completing my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Arts and my minor in Entrepreneurship. I also work as a barista at The Coffee and Tea Exchange in Lakeview East and am a design intern at WholesomeZine right here in Chicago.
