LBP School of Dance

LBP School of Dance A Chicago dance school featuring full length ballet performances. During the year, LBP School of Dance presents several productions on stage.

The June Show recital showcases all LBP students as each class performs. The school also presents The Nutcracker every year and a different classical ballet in the spring including Cinderella, Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Sleeping Beauty, or Coppelia. These productions are a wonderful way to introduce young children to the magnificence of classical story ballets.

Next up in our Senior Spotlight series is Ellie!

Since joining LBP at just 6 years old, Ellie has been a valued part of our studio family. Her love for ballet has shone through the years, and it has been a joy to watch her grow as a dancer through her dedication, grace, and hard work in the studio.

After graduation, Ellie will be attending the University of Washington to study Linguistics.

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Melanie!

Since joining our studio in 2020, Melanie has been a wonderful part of our dance family. Her love for hip hop and commitment to growing as a dancer have made it a joy to watch her develop throughout the years. We are so proud of all that she has accomplished and excited to celebrate this milestone with her.

After graduation, Melanie will be attending Arrupe College of Loyola University Chicago to pursue an Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences, with an emphasis in Criminal Justice.
