I did a series of drawings after watching Alien Romulus a couple of years ago. Those caught the eye of Emile who had been wanting a biomechanical piece from me. We ended up doing a new drawing referencing the xenomorph concept from the movies with a more monster/humanoid feel which was really fun to come up with. Fun fact, I’ve never tattooed the original xenomorph concept. Weird! Anyways I’d like to do that sometime if anyone wanting some dark art concepts is into that.

Started this lower arm as a gauntlet armor half sleeve. Liked it so much that the client decided to extend it into a full cybernetic armor sleeve. I’ve been getting a lot of armor requests lately and have been enjoying doing some different takes on them. Thanks Martin for getting such a cool piece!

Another sleeve in the books. We had tattooed a couple other pieces from my chrome roses designs on Sydney and she decided to take the concept into an entire sleeve. Keeping it abstract while still having moments of form. This was a fun project to balance textures and shapes land creating flow within large fields of color. Thanks Sydney for such a fun idea and being a great client!

Two session abstract blackwork x biomech piece. This is part of a larger collection of work the client has been collecting to create a whole body aesthetic, while not doing whole body coverage. The entire body concept started as a big rework coverup, and while there is only minimal coverup work in this part of the piece, it’s always a rewarding challenge taking existing tattoos and making them into something fresh that the client is proud to wear. I’m excited to share the whole project once we get some healed photos!

Added some bio organic armor around this old skull tattoo (not by me). This was a fun challenge incorporating the existing piece as well as working over a good amount of scar tissue. Hats off to this client for sitting through some pretty tough spots and making the trip to both Chicago at and Milwaukee to get this piece finished! Now booking for both studios

Blue porcelain dragon and floral sleeve. Super fun project. Done over 4 sessions this last year. Most is healed and settled, some part up to a yeah. Used blues and they were super saturated, easy to pack in. Great viscosity as well which Is my usual hang up when lining with color. Thanks for making a great ink. I’ve been getting more dragon requests the last couple years and I am stoked on that! Keep them coming.
