Teatro Americano’s Theatre Company brings together people of all ages to participate in workshops and to rehearse and perform mainstage productions that reflect the voices of our community and spur critical thinking on issues relevant to our community. Teatro Americano performs both in our immediate neighborhood and on stages throughout the City of Chicago

Teatro Americano’s Teen Ensemble is an a

fter school and summer program that provides local youth with access to arts learning and career skills. Students in our Teen Ensemble learn acting fundamentals, creative writing skills, and research skills to create and perform an original play based on stories from the community, all in ten weeks.
