SO Improv brings new and entertaining shows to the Chicago area

Secret Origins: An Improvised Superhero Event took place at Stage 773 April 2017. Over three weeks, audiences created new and fantastic heroes and villains with the help of Chicago's rising improv talents, culminating in an epic showdown in week 4 as the heroes created by the audiences of weeks 1-3 return to team up against a dastardly cosmic threat imagined by week 4's audience.

Last Friday, the town of Phoenix was overwhelmed by murderous plants, fueled by Fanta and a thirst for blood.

Luckily, an unexpected hero emerged when a local horticulturist was bestowed a magical shovel. Transporting Theresa Johnson in The Gardener!

Last week the audience was introduced to Golden Bird! Champaign Illinois’ BEAK-on of hope and justice.

Assmble this Friday night (10p) at Otherworld Theatre Company as we create one more superhero before our grande finale; where all our heroes (Golden Bird, Passover Patty, Nice Guy, and Friday’s creation) team up to take on their biggest challenge yet! 10/26 will be epic!!
