New Project Update: We were asked to build a massive front door to satisfy the historical designation of a gut rehab in Wicker Park. The mahogany door with beveled glass and dual functioning doors was a challenge due to size and detail, but replacing it completed the front of the house. The hand carved rails and stiles were a historical embellishment that completed the two tier panels; all of which, was brought together with our black dying process.

RECENT PROJECT ALERT: A custom, Butcher Block shelving unit and desk for a primary sweet. The unit maximizes storage with cubbies and cabinets with drawers.

Our client chose Geodesic because we were the only team willing to complete the build using Butcher Block, which was the aesthetic carried throughout the home. Paired with a custom paint and dimmable lighting, the completed product had left the client feeling… “like we’re going to sleep in a hotel room every night. It’s so beautiful. And such a practical change to our life too. So nice to finally have enough room to store my clothes and enough light to see what I’m doing. It’s f*cking awesome. You guys did a great job. 👏 “
