The Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Youth Company serves as the youth training troupe to the professio

The Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Youth Company was founded in 1985 by Dame Libby Komaiko and Lillian Heminover at the Fredrick Funston School in Chicago as the training ground for young artists in Spanish Dance in the United States. This dance program continues to attract young people of various different ethnicities from the Chicago and Illinois area. The purpose of the program is to cultivate artistic talent and to provide performance, personal growth and positive social opportunities.
