Brandon, Grandma D, and Ms. Fifi LaFontaine met Ashe’s new friend, Melvin. Melvin doesn’t really speak. Grandma D told Melvin’s mom Melvin’s welcome anytime. Melvin’s mom is glad and explains that Melvin doesn’t really speak. Grandma D told her “ Well they clearly have fun together- plus Ashe talks so much, he won’t even notice” . The two women laughed. Melvin loves to play “cars” with Ashe. He also loves to spin on the swings with Ashe at recess. Ashe doesn’t like that Melvin goes w/ Henny and a couple other friends to a different class for the morning. He’s a mix of jealous, curious but Ashe is always excited when Melvin returns. Grandma D & the Magic Book Machine friends love and want to lift up and celebrate Melvin and all our friends with autism. We love YOU and EVERYTHING YOU ARE! Let’s 💜💙💚💛❤️ 💙
