So Excited for the Fall Session of Classes at CMS!

Dates: INTRODUCTION TO WOODWORKING

Classes run 4 weeks consecutively. I also have included a Brief Course Description Below, along with the prices and registration information.

Course Description

In the Intro course we build a box from a rough cut piece of lumber, and learn how to mill it down to proper dimensions. We then learn about 4 different kinds of joinery techniques. The biggest take away from the course is that I will teach you foolproof strategies for you to use in the future! Strategies for making any wood working project, regardless of the scale...

 Class price  The regular price of the class is $315 for the entire session, but we are offering a special discounted price
of $285 for first time students, including materials. (4 classes @ 3 hours per class = 12 hours.) This promo only applies to new students! Registration Information
 If you would like to reserve your spot you can zelle us with our email address below… [email protected] Once we receive your Zelle you will be officially enrolled and sent a confirmation email.
 Classes on a first come first serve basis and cap the class at 6 people. We do this to ensure each student gets personalized instruction. All materials are included in the price and all you need to do is to show up!

Bio:  Ishbel Rodriguez is a painter and printmaker based in Chicago’s Southside, she received her BFA from The School of the Art Institute in Chicago, 2020. Her work is informed by traditional materials and techniques.

Saturday Morning Class, we did finger Joints today. The leaps and bounds we made in this class are inspiring!
