Many thanks are in order for our extremely successful “Peace Triumphant: 1945” concert on Saturday evening, including:
The Pritzker Military Foundation, for its generous sponsorship that made the magnificent staging and presentation possible
Our faithful patrons and donors for joining us at the concert and sharing their time and financial support with us, and to the veterans and team from Hines Veteran Hospital who so enthusiastically participated
Our talented choral ensemble for contributing their outstanding voices that resounded perfectly in the marvelous acoustics of our host venue, the First United Methodist Church of Oak Park
Josefien Stoppelenburg, our guest soprano solo, who brilliantly brought special meaning to the featured Vaughan Williams composition “A Song of Thanksgiving”
The fantastic string, brass and percussion musicians who so positively broadened the concert experience for everyone, and who complemented our tremendous accompanist David Richards
Pastor Adonna Reid and her staff (especially Karen Doty) at First United Methodist Church Church of Oak Park for their faithful assistance and ongoing support
To our dedicated board who continually provide counsel, direction and countless hours of hard work to ensure MTS’s success
Finally, to our maestro, artistic director and founder Michael Teolis, who expertly curated a memorable program and conducted a truly energetic performance
We hope you’ll be able to join us at our Holiday Concert on Saturday, December 6 at 7:30 pm at First United Methodist Church of Oak Park. More information and tickets will be available soon at www.mtsingers.org.
Thanks again to all!

MTS perform traditional and non-traditional choral works, both serious and light; introduce new music by contemporary composers, and rarely heard works by familiar composers; and preserve choral literature, from ancient to contemporary.
