DANCE GALLERY CHICAGO Celebrates 25 years! Located in Chicago’s historic southwest-side neighborhood of Beverly, Dance Gallery Chicago features a state-of-the-art facility complete with two dance studios with full view mirrors and parental viewing windows. Dance Gallery Chicago offers a large variety of dance classes for all ages & levels, (2-teen & adult), including:

📣 HOT TAKE: Dance Levels are not the same as School Levels:
One of the biggest misconceptions we see in dance is that repeating a certain level is a negative thing….It’s not.

In fact, strong dancers are built by mastering the foundation. Especially ballet. Staying in a foundational class long enough to truly develop technique, strength, musicality, discipline, and confidence will make every level that follows easier to navigate. It also translates across all genres of dance. You will improve your turns in jazz, in hip hop… hit the rhythms in tap.

We all want to be “good” quickly, but dance doesn’t work that way. Skipping important steps doesn’t create great dancers. Mastering the basics does.

Dancers, see this as an opportunity to receive feedback, grow your craft, and become a stronger dancer.

So this season, trust your dance educators.
Repeating a level isn’t a setback. It’s part of the process.
