Junior Gold 2024-
12th seed finished 5th in Match Play
Wow, just wow. This was my last Junior Gold and I am beyond blessed to have been apart of such an incredible group of competitors. To every single person that I have bowled with throughout the week, you all did absolutely phenomenal.
To Recap:
- The first day of qualifying started off hot with a 211, 246, 224, and a 164 to finish with a 845 starting the tournament in 9th place at +45.
- Second day was rough for me but i pushed through with a 215, 151, 256, 152 to finish with a 774 dropping me down to 11th place for the tournament at +19
- Third day is when I started having pain with both my knee and hip. Although I was in pain, I still kept a level head and stayed aggressive putting up a 198, 146, 158, and a 224 to finish with a 726 dropping me down to 30th for the tournament at -55.
- Forth day, still in excruciating pain while taking ibuprofen and having to put on icy hot and bio freeze 😂 I had a 230, 212, 193, and a 258 to finish with a 893 bringing me back up to 8th place at -38.
- Then from there I just kept going! I made it to Advancers then Final Advancers and for my first time ever in the 6 consecutive years of participating in Junior Gold, I made it to match play! I went up against some of the best of the best and even though I wasn’t in the best of shape and I wanted to give up, I didn’t. I went on til I couldn’t no more and I finished 5th in Match Play!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout this journey! Congratulations to everyone who gave their all and remember that anything is possible!!!
ALSO I want to Storm Bowling for the amazing gear that have helped me get this far!! As well as H5G Bowling for making me look and feel great while i’m bowling!!!
