The prolific musician is the first American to win the prize for lifetime literary achievement in 23 years. While Dylan long enjoyed favor as an outside shot for the award, few expected him to win.

We love the Vulgar Boatmen. Always happy to see them get the respect they deserve. I've spent many a cold January watching them.. why do they get the best audience when it's 20 below?

The Vulgar Boatmen - awesome stuff.

The Boatmen never went anywhere, for a number of reasons, but they drew comparisons ranging from Buddy Holly and Ricky Nelson to the Feelies.
