: one last time.

a marker for the future – connect & embrace

Ultimately this work is enwrapped and shaped by my personal dispositions, feelings and structure of my identity. Marks made and moments found of things I wish to see realized, values I hold, and a consideration for growth moving forward.

It is intimate, subjective, and its own for myself. While filled with anecdotes, jokes, and love-letters, all of this work is still made with intention not only for myself but for anyone who takes the time to view and spend time with it. I hope that whoever gets to see the work has
something to takeaway for their own person, whether striking or sweet, it is meant for me to share.

Okay, enough being vulnerable on the internet. I hope to see or meet you at the opening on Friday, and whoever comes along gets something from these things I made.

: again, notating the whims of what passes us by.

fleeting moments – reap what you sow

A tableau of candles and a discovered gravestone. I am constantly enamored and consumed with the ephemeral conditions of the photograph. The post-condition of the instantaneous moment is a counterbalance to the preservation that a photograph holds. We hold what we can and notate its passing. Two signifiers that exemplify this through a meta narrative speaking to the larger body of work as a whole, while still retaining their own individual cadences.
