Turn back time on May 30th with the Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus' performance of "Cher the Love". With more than 250 members, the CGMC is bringing Cher’s biggest songs to the stage in celebration of her 80th birthday!

We are pleased to announce our 49th Annual Art Comp winners!

The Beverly Bank Best in Show Award goes to artist Everette Williams for his piece "Negro 1890s". The Bill and Judie Anderson Award goes to artist Dorothy Straughter for her piece "Read Graffiti, Mother Africa". The Alice & Arthur Baer Award goes to artist Bryan Northup for his piece "Final Vibrancy".

Our Honorable Mentions go to Christine Miller for her piece "Mermaid Mags Host St. Ag", Christyna Neal for her piece "In My Head", Bethany Cordero for her piece "Holding Temporalities", Juan Carlos Rodriguez for his piece "Oh George, It's Repeating", and Evelina Poole for her piece "Lost in the Loop".

Saddle up your horses and take a ride to the Wild West, this is Summer Arts Camp Session 2: Renaissance Rodeo!

In this session, camper cowboys-and-girls can come together for line dancing, lasso-ing, and maybe even some Texas Hold ‘Em (the game AND the song).

Campers will explore art through the lens of country-western style with activities like designing cowboy boots, singing folk songs, and going on some daring adventures!

It's finally here! Music Monday lineup just DROPPED!🚨

Every Monday, we are bringing tunes, vibes, and sunshine to the South side. We've got a band for everyone's taste. You like Blues. Check. You like Cajun? Done.

R&B, Jazz, Latin, Bluegrass, Traditional Irish, you name it. Be here every Chicago summer Monday from 7-9pm. Rain or shine, the show must go on. We ask for a $10 donation for this live music event! Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Beverly Arts Center is pleased to announce auditions for its upcoming production of Ragtime (9-piece orchestration), which serves as both our annual Southside Summer Stage community production and as the capstone of our 2025-2026 theatrical season, “Make Them Hear You.”

The Beverly Arts Center eagerly invites participants of all ages and identities to partake in this community production directed by Lorenzo Rush, Jr.

Please arrive with a headshot and resume, stapled back-to-back, and bring your book in case we are interested in hearing additional pieces. To secure your slot, please sign up on our Wejoinin page for these auditions:https://www.wejoinin.com/sheets/thqan

Auditions are today, May 26th and Wednesday, May 27th from 5-10PM. Video submissions are also accepted until tonight. Send them to [email protected]. Invitation-only callbacks are Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th from 5-10PM.

Rehearsals will be Monday-Thursday from 5-9PM, beginning June 1st. Not every actor will be called to every rehearsal.

For all auditionees: Please prepare a 16-bar cut of a song in the style of the show.
