With a focus on MUSICAL THEATRE and led by professional performers and teaching artists, American Eagle Productions’ summer camps allow young performers ages 4-13 a chance to hone their skills in ACTING, SINGING, and DANCE all while exploring their IMAGINATIONS! We have weekly themed camps so you can join us for one week or up to all 9 weeks of fun!

When: June 10th-August 9th
Hours: 9am-4pm (half day options available)
Ages: 4-7 and 7-13

"You're in the Band!" Limited spots remain for our winter theatre class in partnership with the Naperville Park District featuring themes and hit songs from School of Rock! Through drama games, improv, music and movement students will discover the rocker inside while collaborating to create their own original rock musical. The session will culminate in a one-of-a-kind presentation for friends and family!

This December, we're having fun playing holiday themed improv games with our classes. One of our favorites is PASS THE PRESENT! Here's how we play:

1. Players gather in a circle.
2. Player A pantomimes picking up an imaginary present. This present can be however large, small, awkward, heavy, or light as the player imagines.
3. Player A passes the imaginary present to Player B.
4. Player B accepts the imaginary present, mimicking however Player A interacted with it, and then "opens" the present and thanks Player A.
5. Player B picks up a new imaginary present to give to Player C. Play continues until everyone in the circle has had a turn.

For example, Player A spreads their arms wide to pick up a gigantic imaginary box and struggles to lift it off the floor as they give it to Player B. Player B pretends to open the present and says, "Wow, thanks for my very own elephant!"

Try this game at home and comment with your favorite "present" below!

Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? This class will dive into Bikini Bottom with SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward and the gang! Inspired by the music, characters and themes from the Broadway musical, students will create an original script culminating in a one-of-a-kind presentation for friends and family.
