Thought id make a little post about the Nintendo switch, since there's been a lot of talk about it lately.
So first off: price. It's gonna launch on March 3rd and initially be 300 bones. It will come with 2 different versions: one with colorful controls and one with grey. The dock allows you to play it like a normal console, however youre obviously able to remove it for on the go play, which is why people are abuzz about it. However The battery life when taking it portable sucks but good news is that it comes with a usb type c port so it's not all that bad because you can basically use your phone charger to charge it.
Now for games. Right off the bat the new legend of zelda game will be there at launch as well as: 1-2-Switch, Just Dance 2017, Skylanders: Imaginators, and Super Bomberman R. But keep in mind that Breath of the wild ALONE takes up 40 percent or so of the switches memory, so that's already a problem right there. It was shown that Skyrim will be available later in the year as well so if Breath of the wild already takes up 40 percent of data, imagine how much skyrim might end up being. The switch comes with 32gb of storage but it can be easily expanded using microSDXC cards. There will be No street pass or miiverse. It will launch with a new online service that will be free at first, then they will start charging you later on in the year. Finally there will be no region locking!
Overall It's an interesting concept, but like many thing people will complain about the price, battery, or specs. I say if you like it, get it, otherwise wait for a price decrease or not get it at all. The information is there, and the choice is yours.
