Great news to share!

Our ECI Latin dance series at Hollywood Casino Joliet has officially been extended through November. After our July date, the series will move to select Thursdays, with a slightly expanded format that will include dance performances along with music, dancing, and community.

This is an exciting next step, and I am grateful to Hollywood Casino Joliet and to everyone who has supported the series so far.

I’m excited to share my newest newsletter article about Loncar’s Bar & Grill, the South Chicago neighborhood venue where we will launch Barrio Salsa Bachata & More on Friday, July 10, 2026.

Loncar’s is an intimate space with deep neighborhood roots, and that is exactly what makes this upcoming event feel so special. This article gives a little background on the venue and explains why I’m so excited to bring Salsa, Bachata and community energy into this classic South Chicago bar.

This Tuesday, July 7, we’re back on the lakefront for ECI Tuesdays: Salsa, Bachata, Mambo & More.

Kat Armour Chávez will be teaching Mambo / Salsa On2 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm, and I’ll be providing the music for open dancing from 7:00pm to 10:00pm.

Come early for the lesson, stay for the music, and bring the kind of energy that keeps the dance floor alive.
