Black Girls Love Art is seeking a high energy individual to assist in social media management, event planning, email communications, community outreach and assisting with day-to-day operations over the summer.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: posting scheduled content and engaging on social media on behalf of the founders, attending and assisting in BGLA events, drafting email communications, researching and reaching out to local entrepreneurs, media outlets and business professionals who align with the BGLA mission.
Must have a focus or general interest in arts, business/entrepreneurship, journalism, communications, or marketing. Must have evening and weekend flexibility. Must be fluent in English; bilingual a plus. Must be able to read and write in an effective and concise manner. Must have strong communication skills and attention to detail. Must be efficient in Gmail Suite, Mac and iOS systems, Microsoft Office suite, and all major social media platforms
Internship is unpaid.
