We hosted a group of elementary school students to Chinatown today. Kungfu Master Milton Chan gave an intro demo and exercise to the students. It was drizzling a little bit. But everybody had a great time. The group also did a Chinatown walking tour and dumpling making followed by lunch. DM if you are interested in reserving a program with us.

CCCI President led a 90-minute Chinatown history and culture tour to a team from today. The organization has a 30,000 square feet warehouse where they process free clothes and distribute through partner organizations to those in need. Everybody seems to have had a great time.

Our Chinatown walking tours and food tours are great choices to learn about the Chinese American communities and a great way to do team building as well.

Our Chicago Chinatown Tours is now officially one of the USA TODAY 10Best History Tour winners in a nationwide competition. Just as we thought that we couldn’t continue on, this award validated our efforts during the past 25 years.

We would like to thank every one of you who voted for us! You know who you are and we greatly appreciate your support! The mission of Chicago Chinese Cultural Institute is to bring more visitors to experience Chinese American Community and to share Chinese history, culture, arts and food to those who are interested. We are glad that close to 140 groups came through Chinatown with our programs last year and we are well on the way to reach 200 groups this year once we open the tour to the general public at the end of the month.

‼️In addition to walking tours and food tours, we also offer art workshops such as kite, fan, umbrella painting/coloring, papercutting program and martial arts exercises, etc.. Please refer us to your school, your children’s teachers, your company’s team building, your senior center’s activities coordinator. We’d love to welcome more people to Chinatown.

We will be doing a more official response to the win soon. But can’t wait to share this piece of good news to you now. Thanks!
