🗳️🌳 YOUR PARK. YOUR VOICE. YOUR VOTE!
Chicagoans have an opportunity to help decide how the Chicago Park District invests $500,000 in park improvements through its Citywide Participatory Budgeting process!
Voting is open through Thursday, August 27, and anyone age 13+ who lives in Chicago can vote.
We’d especially love the support of our Eugene Field Park community! 💚
Eugene Field Park has submitted a request for baseball/softball diamond repairs within the Recreation Infrastructure and permanent Fixtures categories. This category also includes improvements to basketball and tennis courts, recreation facilities, and other athletic infrastructure across the city.
The four categories on the ballot are:
⚾ Recreation Infrastructure
♿ Accessibility, Public Safety & Inclusion
🪑 Permanent Fixtures & Park Amenities
🌳 Nature & Beautification
The category receiving the most votes will receive the funding, and the Park District will fund as many projects as possible within the winning category.
If you use our fields, play at our park, have kids in our programs, or simply believe in investing in neighborhood recreation spaces, please take a few minutes to vote!

Paper ballots are also available at Chicago Park District fieldhouses.
