Dear Maifest Family,
After more than 25 incredible years, the time has come for me to step down as President of the Maifest Committee.
When we first started Maifest, the goal was simple but meaningful—to create a German festival that not only celebrated our heritage, but also gave back. What began as a small nonprofit effort to support German children has grown into a cherished annual tradition that brings people together from all walks of life.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication, energy, and heart of this community. From volunteers and organizers to sponsors and guests, each of you played a role in building something truly lasting.
It has been an honor to serve as both founder and President. I’m proud of what we’ve created together—not just an event, but a legacy of culture, generosity, and community spirit.
As I step away, I do so with gratitude and confidence. Maifest is in good hands, and I have no doubt it will continue to thrive and evolve for years to come.
