Happy 250th birthday America!
The independence day (of any country) reminds me to be grateful and salute to soldiers who put the country first, even before their family. It’s one of the greatest sacrifice any human can make. And the we see politicians abusing the power they have to fulfill their greed.
So this, or any other, Independence Day let’s promise ourself to live with integrity, honesty and above all humanity that we sometimes loose focus on.

Happy Earth day! These few weeks in April are always the best; the showers, new leaves, early spring flowers and chirping birds, all so fresh and anew. What a day.. Celebrated Akshayya tritiya working with 23 it gold. ‘The gold Standard’, Weekend workshop taught by hosted by
Working patiently with instacoll to build the layers after layers laying the smooth foundation for the gold is the test of patience but it pays off. What a great workshop Sherri. So much information and troubleshooting tips. Now I need to add some colors and letters to these beautiful gilded designs.
A bit more about Akshayya (infinite) Tritiya: falling on the third day of the bright half of Vaisakha month, it is considered a highly auspicious Hindu festival symbolizing eternal prosperity, success, and new beginnings. It is believed that actions performed on this day, such as charity, investments, or buying gold, yield everlasting positive results. It was a day of positive gold results indeed 🤩

This is one of the grids made for the ‘Mostly Romans - A Playful journey in design’ workshop hosted by and taught by
What a wonderful workshop it was..
Each grid could be a masterpiece or just some playtime. Both were fun and this was a quick one with walnut ink, stamp, watercolor and bleed proof white on text wove paper.
