A special day with Carina Yepez ❤️🔥
During our After School Matters programming, Carina—our Director of Programs and an incredible textile artist—joined students to share her artistic journey, the evolution of her work, and the deeper “why” behind what she creates.
From process to purpose, she spoke about the experiences, emotions, and motivations that continue to shape her artistry over time. Students also had the chance to experience several of her pieces up close and engage in meaningful conversation around creativity, identity, and storytelling through art.
Grateful for artists who remind young people that their voice, perspective, and creativity matter. 🔥
