Time to break out those pañuelos, because Afro-Puerto Rican Bomba 🇵🇷 with Lauren Brooks is back Thursday, February 6!

In class, Bombera, (on Instagram), y los Bomberos will continue to amplify Puerto Rico’s oldest living music and dance tradition 💃🏾🪘🎶. No experience is necessary, we got you!

All levels are welcome, and classes are FREE and open to the public. Grab a friend, share this post, and we’ll see you in 2 weeks!

Bring a a wide skirt or scarf, if possible.

Calling all parents of little ones! 🎶✨

Music Moves is thrilled to partner with Arts and Public Life to bring you South Side Fireflies! ☄️

Our FREE early childhood music program introduces toddlers and preschoolers to the magic of sound and play through the Earth, Wind & Fire songbook.

Led by rotating teaching artists Shanta Nurullah, Zahra Baker, Angel Bat Dawid, and Julian Otis, Fireflies is a place for families to gather on Saturday mornings for music, fun, and community 🫧 Join us every Saturday at 11 AM from February 8th to April 12th at the Arts Incubator!

All families are welcome!

*This program is most suitable for children ages 1-5, but all age groups are welcome to participate.
